24th August 2009 - Grey Wagtail flew over.
9th August 2009 - New Back Garden Bird a fly over Hobby.
27th June 2009 - Been a while but a New Garden Bird a flyover Redshank
Winter 08/09 - Up to 12 Bramblings and 100+ Goldfinches, 15 Blackbirds but less Collard Doves this year?
22nd November 2008 - NEW GARDEN BIRD a Blackcap eating apples in the Snow, also Bramblings still here (at least 5)
8th November 2008 - NEW GARDEN BIRD a Yellow-Browed Warbler with the Long-tailed Tits in the front tree.
25th October 2008 - A small flock of 55 Goldfinch's keep eating alot of seed
18th October 2008 - Bramblings (3) are back
28th September 2008 - NEW GARDEN BIRD Green Sandpiper flyover also 150 Pink-footed Geese
20th September 2008 - Started counting again as bird numbers seem to be picking up 4 Gold Finches and 6 Long-tailed tits were the highlights this afternoon.
August 2008 - Breeding Birds in and around Garden include Collard Dove, Wood Pigeon, Wren, Dunnock, Robin, Blackbird, Swifts, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Coal Tit, Long-tailed Tit, Greenfinch, Chaffinch, Goldfinch and Jackdaw
July 2008 - Siskins vist feeders one evening
27th June 2008 - Happen to look out of the front door as a Hobby flies down the road at dusk.
23rd June 2008 - Kestrel over the garden being mobbed by our swifts.
22nd June 2008 - Baby Blue Tits, Coal Tits and Great Tits also baby Robins and another family of Blackbirds
17th May 2008 - Baby Blackbirds!!
10th May 2008 - Swifts Nesting again
29th April 2008 - Spotted Flycatcher in the garden.
26th April 2008 - Three Swifts over the garden and a Cuckoo was heard.
26th April 2008 - Last sign of the Bramblings was on 21st they have departed.
20th April 2008 - New in the garden bird Rook.
13th April 2008 - Buzzard Over
12th April 2008 - HAWFINCH - wow 2mins max though
30th March 2008 - Dunnock nest building.
15th March 2008 - 2 Siskin and a stop and go Fieldfare.
19th February 2008 - 45 Bramblings in the Garden.
13th January 2008 - 13 Blackbirds on the lawn eating the apples and 13 House Sparrows.
7th December - 42 Collard Doves!
2nd December - Slightly confused as a Kingfisher comes though the garden in the pouring rain.
16th November - Wow a Brambling (fem) on the Sunflowers
October - had a Redwing briefly in the Garden on the apples (from the apple tree) until the Blackbirds scared it off. Also had our first House Sparrow.
August - After a week of the feeders being out we had a pair of Coal Tits visiting and Blue and Great Tits.
29th July - Cut the 3 foot high lawn and had Blackbirds and Robins bouncing around.
28th July - Put out feeders - Peanuts, Mixed seed and black sunflower.
27th July moved in - found we had Swifts (at least 3 pairs) nesting in the roof, and pigeons seemed to be the only other birds.
